After slamming the door I stood still feeling perplexed and angry with myself for being disparaging. Why the fuck did I do that. Why did I leave her like that? Like what the fuck must be wrong with me? The school being attacked and the students' getting hurt is a serious problem I have but I would never let the pack's problems get in the way of caring for my mate.
