“By the way, why are you asking about Liam?” Her voice suddenly jerked me out of my thoughts. I guess she asked, seeing that I wouldn’t reply to her about Anastasia.

My lips slowly curled up into a light smile, covering up the disappointment on my face.

"Oh, about Liam? It was nothing; I was just a bit curious, nothing special.” I said it jokingly.
