Jace's POV

The phone woke me up with a startling jolt. My body ached all over from the strenuous exercise I did till midnight. I had almost passed out from exhaustion, so I had decided to make today a resting day.

So who the fuck was calling!? I reached for the phone and checked the caller id, it was an unknown number. Not many people had my private contact, so I wondered who it could be. Yawning widely, I answered the call.

"Hello?" I mumbled.

"Hello." The caller said.

The voice was annoyingly familiar. If not that bastard, who else would have the guts to call me at such hour?...
