It hadn’t been long since I ended the call with Damien, but my mind was already spiralling.

They’re all in the States now. God… I just hope airport security doesn’t throw a wrench into everything. They saw them arrive, but there’s no record of them leaving. That alone could raise questions—ones we can’t afford. And I know it won’t be long before they’re back here, all of them.
