Daniel used his phone to find another restaurant for us. He was mad that I hadn't told him I was in love with Killian. Oh, goddess, if only he knew I was still in love with Killian, except this time, my feelings are more substantial. That's why I'm gripped to Daniel's side. Maybe if I focused on him, I wouldn't think about Killian. 

We had finished eating and walked home. I grabbed his hand, pleased he didn't revolt against my touch.
