I stare at Zuriel as he drives. A smirk played on my lips. I don't know what he is thinking about what I told him, but I can't help but anticipate his reaction once he carries out his investigation and confirms that River lied. He would feel bad for making me a villain. I can't wait. 

We arrived at the manor in ten minutes. Two servants rushed toward us, bowing. 

"Where's Halsey?" I inquire. 

" In the back garden, my lady," the servant responds. Zuriel continues walking, and I hasten to keep up. Is he feeling nervous about reuniting with his sister after so long? I'm tempted to ask, but...
