The cool wind of the cemetery gently slapped across sixteen-year-old Xavier’s face as his sat on the damp grass, his arm resting awkwardly in the cast that still felt too heavy for him. Tears streamed down his face as his gazed at his mother’s freshly covered grave. He couldn’t believe she was gone and it was all his fault. If only he didn’t ask for those driving lessons, then she’d have probably been here.
