Lyon slammed the car into stop, a flash of irritation. "Rebecca, we're broken up. The guy you're with is none of my business, and I don't care."
"Feel anything for you at all?" Rebecca's voice trembled on her disbelief at his apparent finality.
"I'm in love with Sofia," Lyon asserted.
"I see. I won't bother you again," Rebecca said, her voice fracturing.
Lyon hung up the call and put down his phone, his expression not changing as he restarted the car.
Rebecca tossed her phone angrily against the wall and collapsed onto her bed, weeping. The phone smashed into the wall and then dropped to the floor, its screen shattering...
