Although she had been there a couple of times earlier, she had never encountered other department managers or the CFO. This would be her first time at Lyon's office.

The elevator shot up to the top floor with awesome speed.

Spencer greeted her as soon as she got off the elevator. "Ms. Wilkie, I'll take you there."

They made it to Lyon's office soon enough.

Spencer knocked softly on the door and opened it after hearing an ushering in.

"Mr. Monroe, Ms. Wilkie is here," he announced.

Lyon looked up from his papers, his expression peaceful. "Good. Get Ms. Wilkie a cup of coffee."
