Rebecca came to the realization that she had indeed lost Nathaniel this time. He was always completely forgiving of her and that had made her increasingly irresponsible, relying on him being at her side.

Having cried, she slowly got up from the floor and went back to Lyon's villa.

As if waiting for her return, the servants met her on her way in and handed her the paper which had been given to her by Lyon in the living room.

"Ms. Austen, Mr. Monroe asked you to sign this document and leave him," the housekeeper informed her.
