Lyon's expression darkened. "You fainted due to stomach cramps last night. When I came to see you at the bedside, you gripped my hand so tight that I could not pull my hand away from you. I had to wait here until you woke up."

My confusion turned into humiliation. I had actually gripped something through my pain-dazed daze, but I didn't imagine I'd grabbed Lyon's hand! What was he going to do with me? Was he going to declare me an eccentric person?
