Just as he said this, he felt the air grow colder. He looked up and found himself looking into Lyon's dark, stormy eyes and scowled.
"Lyon, did I get that wrong?" Nathaniel asked.
Lyon replied, "You have no business condemning her. Anyway, I'm the one who injured her."
Nathaniel thought this was absurd. "What do you mean you injured her? Don't forget that she's the one who had your brother imprisoned. If you weren't protecting her, given your father's methods, do you think she'd still be alive today?"
