As he came in, he saw me sitting at the window but alone. His eyes turned cold as he walked to where I was sitting. He sat straight across from me, his tone low and growling. "Where is Ryan Davey?"
I was not surprised to find Lyon. When he had interrogated Ryan in the parking lot earlier that morning, I had suspected that he would verify him. Finding him here was no surprise.
"He left," I answered.
Greeting my indifferent stare, Lyon swallowed hard, his nerves obvious. "What did he say to you?" he asked.
I looked down and spoke in a slow voice. "Not much. He just informed me...
