I was curious. "What's the mysterious prize?"

The server smiled. "You'll find out when the draw is held."

"How do we participate?" I asked.

The server handed me the pink box. "MS. LANKA, just pick a ball from inside. Each ball has a number. If you win, we'll bring you the mysterious gift. If you don't, you'll still get a consolation prize."

I reached into the box and picked out one of the balls. I didn't open it right away but rather turned to LYON. "You should pick one too."

LYON bowed and drew a ball from the box, quite nonchalantly.

Once the server was gone, I smiled at LYON....
