It's 10 p.m., I'm running like crazy on the more than narrow tracks and corridors of New-Deido, the noise, the smells and the disgusting feeling of the dirty water that I splash on the way don't slow me down. Out of breath, my feet are shaking and I feel like I'm going to break down. Lord, true true that bad luck exceeds death. I can still hear him chasing me relentlessly. A few more meters by chance some women are sitting in a courtyard and chatting. I gather all the energy I still had to run, and throw myself into them screaming for help. By reflex, all get up to flee and cry for help, and screech. Thus alerting the neighbors who came out in disaster… I have just been saved. I sit still shaking, I glance over and see him running away. It took me half an hour to explain to these inhabitants what had just happened. As a group, they offered to accompany me to the tarmac and put me in a taxi. Once again I had just escaped the worst.
