From Broken Girl to Blessed Luna

Introduction

“Clean it up.” The man smirked and licked the corner of his lip.

Was this my fate? To be the joke, the plaything, the cursed bride crawling before a stranger?

The hall went silent the moment my hand hovered near the man’s trousers. My chest burned, shame clawing through my body.

“Enough.”

The room froze, Alpha Alaric rose from his throne, his presence a storm breaking loose. His eyes locked on me first, burning, unreadable, a heat that made me feel both condemned and claimed in the same breath. Then his gaze shifted to the man who had humiliated me.

“Did I give you permission to touch what’s mine? You dared to make my bride kneel before you like a whore,” Alaric’s words struck like a whip, the crowd shrinking back from the fury in them.

The man paled instantly. “I–I meant no harm, Alpha—”

Alaric stopped directly in front of me, his hand grabbed my chin, forcing me to lift my head and meet his gaze.

“Remember this, Desdemona,” he murmured, his voice only for me though the entire hall leaned in to hear. “No one humiliates you, no one dares to touch you, you are mine alone, my bride...”

“Cursed child. Moon’s mistake. The Alpha’s doomed bride.”

That’s what they called Desdemona from the moment she was born beneath the Blood Moon.

Raised in a village that saw her as a curse incarnate, she grew up enduring cruelty, humiliation, and rejection. Stones. Spit. Yet deep within, a part of her longed—not only for love—but for freedom. For strength. For a life beyond pain.

And one day, she gave the world its answer: They were wrong. What they saw as the end... was only her beginning.

Sold to Alpha Alaric—a brutal warrior cloaked in shadows, feared among all wolves—Desdemona’s exile becomes the beginning of something no one saw coming.

For Alaric is no ordinary Alpha. He is the banished heir of the Wolf King. And his obsession with Desdemona grows deeper and deeper—dark, possessive, and protective.

But Desdemona refuses to be claimed as anyone’s Luna by name alone. She earns that title—not through fear, nor by a mate’s decree—but by her own strength.

Through fire and defiance, she finds allies. She unearths the truth behind her curse and rises from a despised, humiliated girl into a queen of blessing.
